Lohan’s rehab next to liquor store

Lindsay Lohan has been offered a 20 percent discount at a liquor store neighbouring her rehab facility.

Lindsay Lohan has been offered a discount at the liquor store neighbouring her rehab facility.

The 26-year-old actress is required to check into a stay facility for 90 days of treatment by May 2 to meet the conditions of her plea deal in her reckless driving case.

According to TMZ, she plans to enlist at the Seafield Center in her native Long Island, New York.

The facility happens to be located within a quarter mile of a liquor store.

If she came in owner of Six Corner Liquors says he’s willing to serve her whatever she asks for.

“If Lindsay came in we would treat her like a normal customer. If she wants to buy something of course we will allow her to buy something. I would never say no to her,” he told the website.

The owner, who was not identified, also said he would give the actress a 20 percent discount on cases of wine.

“[I’m] rooting for [Lindsay] to succeed and drink in moderation,” the man explained.

Lindsay’s time in rehab is part of a plea deal she struck with prosecutors after she pled no contest last month to misdemeanour charges of reckless driving and lying to police investigating her June 2012 car crash in Santa Monica, California.

Although the facility is not legally permitted to keep her there around the clock it would be a violation of her plea bargain to leave the premises.

The actress, who has been to rehab a handful of times, has a history of leaving facilities. She reportedly snuck out of Cirque Lodge in Utah during her stay there and allegedly got into a physical altercation with a Betty Ford attendant in a separate incident.

Lindsay spoke about her impending trip to rehab during an appearance on America’s Late Show with David Letterman on Tuesday.

She said she is keeping a positive outlook as the days wind down to her check-in.

“I think this is an opportunity for me to focus on what I love in life and I don’t think it’s a bad thing. I think it’s a blessing… not a curse,” she stated.
