Kim and Kanye 'in baby contract fight'

Kanye West was reportedly shocked when Kim Kardashian’s mom asked him to sign a “pre-baby contract”.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West reportedly argued over a “pre-baby contract”.

Kim is currently pregnant with the couple’s first baby, which is expected to arrive this summer. While rapper Kanye is seemingly keen to keep the newborn out of the spotlight, Kim’s mom Kris Jenner allegedly asked him to sign legal papers ahead of the birth.

This suggestion is said to have infuriated Kanye and sparked tension between him and Kim when they met in Paris earlier this month.

“Kris wants to have control over the baby’s first public pictures, product endorsements and Kim’s post pregnancy weight loss. Kris is also trying to think ahead in case the couple split – although obviously she hopes that won’t happen,” a source told British magazine Closer. “Kanye and Kim argued about the suggested contract. Kim initially wanted to keep her mom happy, but Kanye said she should stand up to Kris. Kanye said he wouldn’t sign anything.”

Earlier this year, Kim revealed she wants to keep a low-profile when the baby arrives and even hinted she might be quitting the family’s reality show Keeping up with the Kardashians.

“We’ll try and keep it as private as possible,” she said in January.

It was later claimed Kim might be having second thoughts and was feeling pressure from her mom, who is also her manager.

However, the 32-year-old star has since decided she needs to put Kanye and their baby first.

Kim has reportedly told Kris to “stop meddling” in her personal life.

“As soon as Kim realised her mother’s demands were causing cracks in her relationship with Kanye, she knew she had to have a word,” the source added. “She loves her mom, but she wants to respect Kanye’s wishes to keep the baby away from the showbiz world.”
