Lohan misses deposition

Lindsay Lohan has missed a deposition in a civil suit filed against her by a paparazzo who claims she was a passenger in a car that ran over his foot in 2010.

Lindsay Lohan was a no-show at an important deposition.

The Mean Girls star was hit with a lawsuit from paparazzo Grigor Balyan who claims she was a passenger in a car that ran over his foot in 2010.

Lindsay was scheduled to sit down with the plaintiff’s attorneys in Los Angeles on Monday morning.

According to TMZ, the actress blew off the appointment without notice.

Sources told the website Lindsay’s attorney Julia Azrael had not been able to reach the starlet for the past week.

Azrael reportedly tried to alert opposing counsel but the deposition was not rescheduled.

Lawyers representing the photographer are moving to ask that a judge order Lindsay to appear for another deposition, it is claimed.

A spokesman for the actress has yet to comment on the allegations.

Balyan was shooting Lindsay outside a Hollywood nightclub in a car being driven by her assistant. The lensman asserts that the vehicle she was in plowed into him on the actress’s direction.

He claims to have suffered orthopedic and neurologic injuries.

Last August Lindsay submitted her response to the claim filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.

A lawyer for the star alleged Balyan “carelessly put himself near a moving automobile” and caused his own injuries.

According to TMZ, a judge could rule against Lindsay if she refuses to cooperate and could order her to pay damages to Balyan.

Time is running out for Lindsay. She is required to enter a stay rehab facility by May 2 in agreement with the terms of her probation in a separate criminal case.

The troubled star will be required to spend 90 days in treatment after pleading no contest to misdemeanour charges of reckless driving and lying to police investigating her June 2012 car crash in Santa Monica, California.
