Justin Bieber has reportedly ordered everyone close to him not to say “anything negative” about his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, even though she’s publicly made a few gibes regarding their romance.
Justin Bieber reportedly won’t allow anyone close to him to dis his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
The 19-year-old Baby singer and the 20-year-old Spring Breakers actress ended their relationship over the 2012 Christmas holidays after being together for around two years.
Selena recently cracked a joke on the Late Show with David Letterman about how she made Justin cry.
She also made a gibe on Chelsea Handler’s programme recently, claiming she was “really” happy to be single.
Despite Selena’s remarks, Justin remains protective over his former love.
“She’s been bashing him but Justin has ordered everyone around him not to retaliate,” a source told Radar Online.
“He told his friends and everyone else about Selena, ‘she’s off limits’. He told everyone to leave her alone.
“He doesn’t want to fuel the fire and he just doesn’t want it to be that way with her. ‘I don’t want anyone saying anything negative about her,’ is what he told his pals.”
Justin’s team is apparently missing Selena’s calming influence on the Canadian superstar. The Baby singer has hit headlines for a variety of controversial reasons recently, such as the two-hour late-running of his London show earlier this month.
