Psy has announced a new track and a special concert.
Psy will release his follow-up single to Gangnam Style in April.
The South Korean rapper burst onto the music scene with his catchy track and legendary dance moves last year.
Up until now he has remained rather quiet about his next career move, but he confirmed a new song and a large concert in Seoul is imminent in a YouTube video.
“April 2013 is a new single, worldwide all at the same time. And I’m gonna do a concert… you can see it live, on YouTube. Just for you,” he promises fans in the clip.
Speaking in both Korean and English, the star addressed his international audience by providing subtitles in Chinese, Spanish, Thai, Indonesian, French and Portuguese.
Psy then launched into a new dance routine for his remixed version of Gangnam Style, all the while sporting his famous sunglasses.
The 35-year-old is currently touring Australia after shows in Latin America and also released a four-track album, featuring remixes of his iconic song featuring rappers 2 Chainz and Tyga.
In the past, the singer has spoken about the pressures he faces with his second song.
“I don’t think I’ll be doing any collaborations until my new track is done, and it’s not done yet, but I’m thinking of doing it by myself, so I can prove I can do it one more time,” he said.
“And I’m working hard on it, because I’ve got to be good with the track and the video, and I’ve got to be able to perform it on the stage.”
Tickets for the Seoul concert will go on sale on March 11, with the event featuring past songs as well as his new hit.
