Matt Damon ‘planning wedding celebration’

Matt Damon and his wife are planning a "destination" renewal of their wedding vows in April.

Matt Damon and his wife are planning a huge wedding celebration in April.
The Hollywood star married Luciana Bozán Barroso in a small, private ceremony in December 2005. They are now said to have made arrangements to celebrate their union on a grander scale and have even sent out Save the Date cards.
“They had a really low-key wedding in Manhattan,” an insider told New York Post, “so now they want to do something bigger.”
The pair are apparently planning a “destination wedding”, although at the moment they haven’t revealed where it will take place.
Details are hazy at the moment, but it’s understood the couple have told their guests children are not invited.
The 42-year-old star’s representative hasn’t commented on the report.
Matt and Luciana met in 2003 while he was shooting Stuck on You. He has previously explained the only person at their wedding who wasn’t a family member was New York City’s Mayor Bloomberg.
The pair are not even thought to have told many of their friends they were planning the union, with Matt’s long-time pal Ben Affleck one of those who had no idea he was marrying.
They also didn’t have a proper honeymoon, with Luciana simply accompanying Matt to London where he had shooting commitments.
The couple may be low-key but they are very happy and raise four daughters together.
Earlier this year, Matt spoke of how content he is with his life. He knows many think he isn’t that fun because he is so settled, but he wouldn’t have it any other way.
“The [female fans] who are slicker are probably interested in somebody else anyway. Besides, the narrative about me kind of goes, ’He’s a boring married guy’, which is great, because I don’t get any of that other stuff like Brad Pitt and George Clooney do. Lucy doesn’t have to worry anyway,” he said.
“This is the first relationship I’ve had that wasn’t like work to be in. I never knew it could be like this.”
