Pink shared her disbelief with fans ahead of the opening night of her hotly-anticipated new tour.
The Try songstress couldn’t contain her excitement before taking to the stage at the US Airways Center in Phoenix for the start of her The Truth About Love tour.
Pink took to Twitter on Wednesday evening to gush about her impending show.
Writing to her fans on the social networking site, she exclaimed: “Can’t believe it’s happening! Truthaboutlovetour starts NOW!!!!! So grateful to everyone who is coming to play with us. See you soon!!!!!! (sic).”
The 33-year-old former gymnast certainly didn’t hold back when it came to making an entrance, and wowed the audience with an impressive aerial acrobatics display.
Pink showed off her famously toned body in a range of skimpy outfits, including a barely-there black cut-out leotard and a studded crop top and trouser suit combo.
At one point in the show, Pink stripped it all back and showed off her feminine side in a silver prom-style dress, complete with a pink glittery band and delicate pink underskirt.
Pink’s new world tour starts in North America before heading to Europe and Australia and ending in Sydney on September 5.
There has been much buzz surrounding the string of concert dates, after Pink wrapped up her last tour in 2010.
The mother-of-one has been detailing her anxieties ahead of kick-off on her Twitter page, revealing earlier this week: “The truth about love tour starts in two days. I better be ready and I better be f**king amazing or I’m fired. Or I quit. One of those (sic).”
Following the star’s first show, fans took to the social networking site to praise her show-stopping performance.
While one fan gushed: “P!nk- beautiful vocals, engaging performance, amazing acrobatics and dancing- PHENOMENAL show!!!! Everyone MUST see her concert!!!!!! @Pink (sic),” another user wrote: “I just want to say what an incredible honor it is to witness @Pink in action everyday. You are truly incredible. I am forever in awe (sic).”
