Christina Ricci has confirmed that she is preparing to tie the knot with James Heerdegen.
The 32-year-old actress met her future husband on the set of cancelled TV series Pan Am.
Christina and James, a TV and film grip who has worked on over 40 productions, hit it off instantly and quickly became betrothed.
“Yeah. [We got engaged] a couple months back,” she revealed to Us Weekly magazine.
Although Christina and James are over the moon about their future union, the star reveals that the couple don’t have any romantic plans cemented for February 14.
“Honestly, I was trying to think of that before, I can’t remember’ a single Valentine’s Day!” she laughed.
“I personally just don’t think I’ve ever made a big deal about Valentine’s Day. I mean. I like to get like flowers.”
Christina has been in the limelight since she was a child.
She has been working hard of late and is looking forward to relaxing for a little while.
“I worked so much last year that I just really wanted to have some time off to just kind of live,” Christina said.
“You kind of need to take time to be a real person.”
Christina was previously engaged to actor Owen Benjamin, but they called in quits in 2009.
