Lemmy plans to get ‘’trashed as much as possible’’ in 2013.
The Motorhead frontman is looking forward to bringing in the new year with a bang by getting intoxicated and then carrying on that theme throughout the rest of the year unless the world suddenly comes to an end.
When asked what his plans are for 2013, he replied: ‘’I don’t know? Isn’t the world going to end? I don’t know, get trashed as much as possible I suppose – what else is there? I’ve done an autobiography already.’’
As well as enjoying some alcoholic beverages, the 66-year-old singer and bassist is looking forward to starting work on Motorhead’s follow up album to 2010’s ‘The World Is Yours’.
Speaking at the Classic Rock Roll of Honour in London on Tuesday night (13.11.12), he told BANG Showbiz: ‘’Start work on the new album in January/February and then I suppose we will tour it again, like we do. We’ll be keeping the same producer, if it’s not broke then don’t fix it. ’’
But the 66-year-old rocker might also like to spend part of 2013 cleaning his tour bus as he admits it is an ‘’irretrievable mess’’ full of ‘’cheese and biscuits’’.
He added: ‘’The tour bus is an irretrievable mess with foods in – it’s full of cheese and biscuits.’’
‘’But touring is all I’ve ever done since I was like, 18, 20 years old. I couldn’t do anything else I used to be a lot less responsible.’’
