Queens of the Stone Age and 30 Seconds to Mars have been confirmed for next year’s Download Festival.
Seven new acts have been announced at the annual event – which this year celebrated its 10th anniversary – at Donington Park in Leicestershire on June 14 to 16, including Motorhead, Alice In Chains and HIM.
A Day To Remember and Gaslight Anthem are the final two, joining a raft of headliners including Rammstein, Slipknot and Iron Maiden.
It will be the first time Queens of the Stone Age have performed at the Download Festival, and is their first confirmed date in the UK in 2013.
It will be the third time 30 Seconds to Mars – famous for hits including ‘Kings and Queens’ and ‘This Is War’ – will take to the stage at the prestigious rock festival.
Weekend tickets with camping are on sale now at www.downloadfestival.co.uk. Download RIP ticket packages can be purchased via www.livenationexperience.co.uk or by phoning 0207 009 3484.
